How it works
BidOnApps auctions access to software, not ownership.
- A publisher sets the number of winning positions, X.
- The first top-X bidders may enter at USD 0.05. Every later bid must increase the live amount by at least USD 0.05.
- You set a maximum. The auction keeps only the lowest live amount needed for a top-X position and never exceeds your maximum.
- Before a binding bid, you confirm a payment method with Stripe. No money is captured when you bid. At close, your own final live bid is the access price. If that USD bid is below USD 0.50, a separately disclosed processing fee brings the card charge to Stripe’s USD 0.50 minimum; at USD 0.50 or more the fee is USD 0.00. Access follows the signed payment-success webhook. Publishers cannot set a reserve or floor price.
- If a winning card payment fails, that winner receives no access and the position is removed; it is not offered to the next bidder.
- An organizer may cancel a live auction before settlement without stating a reason. No winner is selected and no auction card charge is created.
